BJP, RSS were bootlickers of British, says Congress MLC Hariprasad

Congress MLC BK Hariprasad alleges BJP and RSS leaders are bootlickers of the British empire. He criticizes BJP for being Godse followers and denies the need to learn anything from them. Hariprasad accuses BJP of engaging in appeasement politics and disregarding the concerns of farmers and women. He also highlights BJP's opposition to caste-based reservation and criticism of caste census. Union minister Pralhad Joshi condemns Hariprasad's statements and claims he is seeking relevance within Congress. Joshi reminds Hariprasad that Siddaramaiah, not Sonia Gandhi, has the power to induct him into the cabinet. Opposition leader R Ashoka points out that the Congress once had a British president, Sir AO Hume.
