Tuesday, 26 December 2023 A trafficked woman, sold by her cousin, managed to escape after being held captive and raped for five years. She is now back home in Chhattisgarh. Her cousin has been arrested, but the father and son who repeatedly raped her are still at large. The survivor was trafficked as a minor and is now a 21-year-old mother. She was sold to a man in Rohtak, Haryana, for Rs 2 lakh. The survivor tricked her captor and managed to escape with her father and child.
