Minutes after tying knot, 2 die by suicide in UP's Meerut

The bodies of Manish Chauhan, a resident of Uttarakhand, and his wife Rakhi, a resident of Meerut, were found hanging from a tree in Behsuma region of Meerut district. The couple, who wished to marry but were not allowed by the woman's family, ended their lives. In a separate incident, another couple jumped into a canal in Meerut. The woman was rescued, but the man is still missing. The motives behind both incidents remain unknown.
