Vadra linked to wanted arms dealer Bhandari’s aide: ED chargesheet
Wednesday, 27 December 2023 Enforcement Directorate (ED) informs the special court that C C Thampi, associated with arms dealer Sanjay Bhandari, is a close associate of Robert Vadra. Supplementary chargesheet filed against Thampi and Sumit Chadha in money laundering case. Vadra had a flat in central London renovated by Chadha and stayed there. Bhandari is battling extradition from the UK. Thampi is accused of acquiring properties in London. ED alleges that Thampi acted as a front for shell entities.
He appeared in connection with the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) and Enforcement Directorate (ED) cases on the expiry of his judicial custody. DNA
