ED to seek extradition of Mahadev accused from UAE
Wednesday, 27 December 2023 The Enforcement Directorate plans to file for the extradition of Saurabh Chandrakar and Ravi Uppal, prime accused in the Mahadev Book Online betting syndicate, from the UAE. The deportation of Uppal, who was arrested by the Dubai police, is taking longer than expected. Chandrakar has been put under house arrest. Red corner notices were issued against both accused in October. Simultaneously, the agency is filing an extradition request through the courts and the foreign ministry.
