Gas cylinders at Rs 450 from Jan 1 as promised in poll manifesto: CM

Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma announced that the government will provide LPG gas cylinders at Rs 450 to beneficiaries under the 'Rasoi Gas Cylinder Subsidy Scheme'. Beneficiaries will have to register themselves at the Vikas Bharat Sankalp Yatra camps to avail the same. The government is determined to realize Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay's idea of 'Antyodaya' by fulfilling all the promises made to the public in the manifesto. The state government will also adopt a policy of zero tolerance against corruption and fix accountability at every level in such cases that occurred in the state over the past few years. The vikas camps will deliver 39 public welfare schemes, including the Kisan Credit Cards.
