Tensions between Telangana bureaucrats have escalated since the Congress government took over, with some IAS officers complaining of a smear campaign against them on social media. The officers, who held key positions in the previous government, have reported unsavoury comments on Telugu YouTube channels and WhatsApp groups. They insist that they should not be vilified for implementing the previous government's orders and policies. The officers feel targeted and accused of corruption, but the Telangana IAS Officers Association has not addressed the issue. The Congress government's review of previous decisions is seen as a positive move.
