Monday, 1 January 2024 Raising voices in support of suffering Palestinians and demanding an immediate cease-fire in Palestine, the protests were held at various places across Punjab on the first day of 2024 on Monday. The call for protests was given by 7 left-leaning political parties and organisations apart from Lok Morcha Punjab and farmer labourer organisations. The protesters held rallies and took out protest marches at certain places in the biting cold. While accusing Israel of killing innocent Palestinians, the protesters stated that even the elderly people and kids are not being spared and also the hospitals have been targeted.
