Lt-Gen Navin Sachdeva assumes command of 16 Corps

Lt-General Navin Sachdeva has taken charge as the General-Officer-Commanding (GOC) of Nagrota-based White Knight Corps, also known as 16 Corps, succeeding Lt-General Sandeep Jain. A defence PRO in Jammu said Lt-Gen Sachdeva, previously stationed at the Army headquarters in New Delhi, assumed command on Monday, and said it was an honour for him to take over the charge of an elite formation with a rich history in Jammu and Kashmir.
