Terror funding case: SIA raids cop’s house in Jammu
J&K State Investigation Agency (SIA) on Tuesday searched the house of a policeman in connection with a terror financing case involving former minister Jatinder Singh alias Babu Singh, said officials. Jatinder Singh, chairman of Nature-Mankind Friendly Global Party, was arrested on April 9, 2022, soon after the apprehension of his worker Mohammad Shareef Shah, a resident of south Kashmir’s Kokernag, with Rs 6.9 lakh hawala money in Jammu. The former minister and two others were subsequently charge-sheeted by the SIA in September 2022.
