Andhra Pradesh CM distributes enhanced social security pension of Rs 3,000
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy distributed enhanced YSR Pension Kanuka of Rs 3,000 per month to eligible people. The Andhra Pradesh Cabinet recently approved raising the social security pension from Rs 2,750 to Rs 3,000 per month. The pension is provided to senior citizens, widows, single women, HIV positive persons, and others. Over 66 lakh people will benefit from this increase, and the state is spending Rs 2,000 crore per month on pensions.
