To counter opposition, PM Modi leads BJP drive on Ram temple event

Taunted by opposition parties over Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, BJP has launched a massive campaign for the consecration ceremony scheduled for January 22 with PM Modi leading from the front and other saffron organisations complementing his efforts. Reference of the temple construction and the consecration ceremony has been invariably used by the PM in his public speeches and has also highlighted how people are excited about the "historic" occasion. The PM, while unveiling various projects in Ayodhya, had exhorted Ram devotees to celebrate Diwali on January 22 and light lamps in their homes.
