Amid petrol frenzy, Hyderabad man delivers food on horseback

Syed Farooq, a food delivery executive, became a social media sensation when he rode on a horse through the streets of Hyderabad to complete his deliveries amid a fuel crisis caused by the truckers' bandh call. Thousands of motorists jammed the city's petrol pumps which eventually ran out of fuel stock. Unable to tank up his two-wheeler, Farooq turned to his friend's horse and delivered two parcels on horseback. His act of necessity, not a publicity stunt, earned him praise and a cash award.
