Mumbai police returned 68 diamonds worth Rs 1.1 crore

The D B Marg police recently returned 68 diamonds worth Rs 1.1 crore to a Gujarat based diamond manufacturing company after the legal process. A diamond broker, Mayur Suru (51), who posed as a buyer, fled with the diamonds after meeting the complainant in a building near Panchratna. The police arrested Suru and recovered the diamonds. The diamonds were returned to the company after a court order. The incident took place in the diamond market in BKC and later at an angadiy shop in Panchratna.
