JD(U) & RJD may contest 16 Lok Sabha seats each, leave 8 for Congress, Left
The Grand Alliance partners in Bihar, JD(U) and RJD, are close to finalizing the number of Lok Sabha seats they will contest with Congress and the Left parties. Bihar deputy CM Tejashwi Yadav visited CM Nitish Kumar to discuss the seat-sharing issue. RJD and JD(U) are expected to contest 16 seats each, while Congress will get five seats and the Left will receive three. However, there are some glitches over a few seats that both RJD and JD(U) want to contest, and the final seat-sharing announcement has not been made yet.
