Jamia professor, firm director booked for bribery

The CBI has booked Khalid Moin, a professor at Jamia Millia Islamia, and Amrit Paul, director of Technical Projects Consultants Pvt Ltd, in a case of alleged bribery related to the issuance of structural safety certificates for real estate projects. The accused are alleged to have quoted a rate of 30 paisa per square feet for the university and demanded a similar amount as a bribe. The FIR mentions call recordings that reveal Moin's involvement in a criminal conspiracy with Paul. Moin issued a structural stability certificate for Khusi Realcon Pvt Ltd in exchange for a bribe of Rs 2,20,212.
