Wings of change in 2 years: Ayodhya's quiet airstrip soars into international airport

Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated Ayodhya's Maharshi Valmiki International Airport, which has expanded from a small airstrip to an expansive international airport covering 821 acres. The project received funding from AAI and the Yogi Adityanath government. The biggest challenge was acquiring 500 acres of private lands, which was successfully accomplished through mutual consent. The airport's second phase will include an extended runway and a large terminal.
