Lashkar terrorist who targeted Pandits & migrants killed in Shopian
Friday, 5 January 2024 A Lashkar-e-Toiba terrorist, Bilal Ahmed Bhat, involved in a series of killings of soldiers, migrant workers, and Pandits, was gunned down in an encounter in Kashmir's Shopian district. Bhat fired on the police, army, and CRPF personnel during a cordon-and-search operation. His body was seized along with a large cache that included an AK rifle and magazines. Bhat, a resident of Shopian, unleashed a spate of attacks last year, targeting various people. He lured local youths to take up terrorism and even killed a fellow terrorist.
