Aditya-L1 to reach vantage point today, here’s all you need to know

IndiaTimes Saturday, 6 January 2024
In addition to reaching its final destination, Isro needs to track the spacecraft's position and perform periodic manoeuvres to maintain its intended orbit. Lagrange Points L2, L3, L4, and L5 are other positions in space where objects can stay with reduced fuel consumption. The Sun is the source of solar energy for the entire solar system and its gravity holds everything together. Space weather, influenced by the Sun's radiation, particles, and magnetic fields, is important to study for the functioning of space assets. Early warning of solar events is crucial for protecting spacecraft and astronauts from disturbances.
