The Enforcement Directorate has informed a special court in Raipur that Asim Das, who was arrested earlier, claims that the unaccounted cash found on him was meant to be delivered to former Chhattisgarh CM Bhupesh Baghel. Asim Das stated that he visited Dubai twice in October on the instructions of Shubham Soni, one of the promoters of the Mahadev app. The ED has quoted Asim Das's statement to say that he was coerced into giving a retraction of his earlier statement. The ED has emphasized that Asim Das's statement on November 3 is true and correct.
