NIA attaches four properties of Lawrence Bishnoi gang
Saturday, 6 January 2024 The NIA attached five properties, including an SUV, in the terrorist-gangster-drug smuggler nexus case. The properties were used to hatch terror conspiracies and commit serious crimes. The NIA teams in Haryana, Punjab, and Uttar Pradesh attached the properties owned by members of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. In another case related to the 2022 Chanapora arms seizure of Kashmir, the NIA attached the house of key conspirator Aamir Mushtaq Ganaie. Ganaie and his associates were cadres of Lashker-e-Taiba arm The Resistance Front (TRF).

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) apprehended two suspects - Mussavir Hussain Shazib and Abdul Matheen Taha - in connection with Bengaluru's Rameswaram Cafe blast case on Friday. The two were nabbed near West Bengal's Kolkata. Mussavir Hussain Shazib has been identified as the alleged "mastermind" behind the low-intensity blast that occurred at a prominent eatery in Bengaluru on March 1. Shazib is accused of placing the improvised explosive device (IED) at the cafe. Additionally, Abdul Matheen Taha is implicated as a co-conspirator in the incident. Both Taha and Shazib hail from Thirthahalli in Shivamogga district, according to statements from the National Investigation Agency (NIA).
