Costly affair: Cops save conductor from attack by girlfriend, her husband

A BMTC bus conductor named Suresh was chased and attacked by his girlfriend Manasa and her husband Shankar near a bus depot in Bengaluru. Suresh and Manasa had been in a serious relationship for the past seven months and had taken photographs together. However, their relationship turned sour when Suresh refused to give Manasa more money and demanded that she return the money he had already given her, amounting to over Rs 80,000. In retaliation, Manasa threatened to reveal their relationship to Suresh's wife and complain to Shankar, leading to the attack.
