Sunday, 7 January 2024 Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav announced the closure of 25,000 shops selling meat and fish in the open over the last 25 days. This decision was made in line with Yadav's directive to ban the sale of meat and fish in open places in the state. Yadav emphasized that the development work in Madhya Pradesh will continue without compromise.
