The article titled "Manipur Police lack bullets in Moreh" led to charges of promoting enmity, criminal conspiracy, and offenses under the Official Secrets Act. Another editor, Wangkhemcha Shyamjai, was also arrested and released on bail. Women's groups protested the arrests, emphasizing the importance of free speech and editors' role in showing reality.
