Brother says he is clueless about Sheikh's whereabouts, rules out he's in Bangladesh
Sheikh Shahjahan's brother Sheikh Alamgir returned home and stated he was clueless about his brother's whereabouts. He denied that Shahjahan was in Bangladesh, where there were rumors of his escape. Alamgir mentioned the attack on ED officials at Sarberia and believed it could have been avoided if they had served a notice instead of forcefully entering the home. He mentioned Shahjahan taking legal advice and expressed uncertainty about when he would reappear in public. Alamgir dismissed the possibility of his brother crossing the border without assistance from the Centre.
