Madhya Pradesh CM Mohan Yadav inaugurates healthy food street 'Prasadam' at Ujjain
Monday, 8 January 2024 Chief Minister Mohan Yadav inaugurated 'Prasadam', the country's first healthy and hygienic food street in Ujjain. The street will serve traditional dishes made of coarse grains like rajgira, sanwa, kuttu, ragi, dal-baffle, and more. The food street will be fully operational from February and will have 17 shops. It will be a plastic-free zone with vendors wearing gloves, cap, and apron. The FSSAI will provide food handling training and the Food Safety on Wheels vehicle will inspect the food weekly.
