Lakshadweep's tourism grows with new proposals for development

Lakshadweep is a group of 36 islands, ten of which are inhabited. The government has lately suggested developing more tourism initiatives there. The famous Paradise Island huts are among the government-run tourism attractions overseen by SPORTS (Society for Promotion of Nature Tourism and Sports). A new plan pertaining to the Smart City programme seeks to establish a hotel with ninety rooms. This surge in the tourism development signals an exciting phase for Lakshadweep's travel landscape.
