Paytm to invest Rs 100 crore in GIFT City development center
One97 Communications Limited (OCL), the parent company of Paytm, will invest Rs 100 crore in Gujarat's GIFT City to build an Artificial Intelligence-driven cross-border remittance and payments technology system and set up a development centre. The announcement was made ahead of the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit 2024, in Gandhinagar. The company will invest over a period of time. The development centre in GIFT City will build the AI-powered remittance solution and provide a technology backbone. This centre will create jobs and house engineers to develop other financial products and services as well.
