Bengaluru startup CEO likely planned son's murder, empty cough syrup bottles found in room: Cops
Goa police suspect that the alleged murder of a 4-year-old by his own mother, Suchana Seth, was likely pre-meditated after they found empty bottles of cough syrup in a room where she was staying. The bottles suggest that Seth might have given a heavy dose of the medicine to her son before smothering him to death, a police official said. According to the post-mortem, the child was smothered to death by either a cloth or pillow. Seth, allegedly killed her son in the apartment at Candolim in Goa and stuffed the body in a bag before taking it to neighbouring Karnataka in a taxi, police said.
