Techie murders gay partner in Chennai, dies by suicide

A techie from Ambattur hanged himself after strangling his same-sex partner at a lodge in West Mogappair. The two men became acquainted through a dating application and began a relationship, despite opposition from their families. The Aminjikarai police received a complaint from Lokesh's parents when he did not return home from work. Police found Vanjinathan hanging from the ceiling and Lokesh dead on the bed in a lodge room in Paneer Nagar.
