6 killed in Sikar road accident

Six people were killed and five injured in a road accident in Sikar on Sunday evening. Witnesses said the impact of the collision was so severe that both vehicles involved were completely mangled. Police promptly arrived at the scene and, with the assistance of locals, extricated bodies of the victims from the vehicles. The accident occurred around 4.50 pm on the Jaipur to Bikaner highway (NH-52), near Laxmangarh, police said. Bodies of the victims were placed in the mortuary at a local hospital, while the five injured were referred from Laxmangarh to Sikar.
