India's domestic air travel not only rebounded to pre-Covid levels but also surpassed last year's figures. DGCA data for January-December 2023 reveals a record-breaking 15.2 crore domestic air travelers – the highest ever in India. After a dip to 6.3 crore in 2020 due to a two-month flight suspension, recovery began with 8.4 crore in 2021 and escalated to 12.3 crore in 2022.
