Biological E's Covid vaccine, Corbevax, has received WHO emergency use listing, following approval in India. The vaccine, developed on the protein sub-unit platform, received authorization for various age groups, including use as a booster. The Hyderabad-based company has supplied 100 million doses to India, emphasizing its commitment to affordable and accessible vaccines. The WHO listing enhances global accessibility to Corbevax, contributing to broader immunization efforts.
