Ministry of home affairs revokes FCRA license of Centre for Policy Research

The Ministry of home affairs has revoked the FCRA license of the Centre for Policy Research (CPR), a well-known non-governmental organization, due to alleged violations of regulations. CPR's license had been suspended eleven months ago and the cancellation order was issued last Wednesday. CPR maintains that it operated in accordance with the law and will assess its options to seek justice. Several other NGOs have faced cancellations or suspensions of their FCRA licenses.
