Security stepped up in Jammu ahead of Ram Temple consecration, Republic Day

In anticipation of the consecration ceremony of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya on January 22, followed by Republic Day, enhanced security measures have been implemented in the Jammu division. Officials report increased efforts in vehicle-checking operations and pedestrian frisking across various areas in the city and the wider region. On Wednesday, Jammu SSP Vinod Kumar conducted an on-site security assessment, inspecting checkpoints and other key locations. Security forces and police have been put on alert across Jammu.
