Centre forms panel for Madiga welfare

The Centre has formed a committee to extend welfare benefits exclusively targeting the Dalit sub-group in the upcoming Lok Sabha contest in Telangana. The committee will focus on providing targeted welfare benefits to the SC sub-group, different from the consolidated benefits given to the Dalit monolith, and may later extend it to other backward Dalits.
