Tribals with land rights must get PM-Kisan benefits: Government

Government has written to states to ensure eligible tribals with land rights under the Forest Rights Act (FRA) also get the income support benefit of Rs 6,000 per annum under PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. With the ministry of tribal affairs (MoTA) and agriculture monitoring closely, over the past three weeks around three lakh tribals and other traditional forest dwellers holding land lease rights under FRA have been linked to PM-Kisan.
