First look of Ram Lalla's idol inside Ayodhya temple revealed
Friday, 19 January 2024 The Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) has released the first image of the Ram Lalla idol for the 'pran pratishtha' ceremony at the Ram Janmabhoomi temple. The 51-inch idol, representing Lord Ram as a child, was sculpted by Mysuru-based artist Arun Yogiraj. It was placed in the sanctum sanctorum of the temple on Thursday, following its arrival on Wednesday night amidst prayer chants, as per the Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra trust.
In a momentous revelation, the idol of Lord Ram, set to be enshrined at the Ayodhya Temple, was unveiled to the public. It has cast a divine aura ahead of the highly anticipated consecration ceremony scheduled for January 22.

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Saturday said by trouncing the BJP in Ayodhya, the INDIA bloc has defeated the Ram temple movement once led by L K Advani, and expressed confidence that the saffron party will meet the same fate in Gujarat in the next election. He said the Congress has been challenged and threatened by the BJP, but it will defeat the saffron party and Narendra Modi in Gujarat just the way it was defeated in Ayodhya. Gandhi was addressing party workers days after the Congress and BJP clashed outside the Gujarat Pradesh Congress Committee (GPCC) office when saffron party workers went there to protest against his (Gandhi's) remarks on Hindus.
