Must respect humanitarian law: EAM Jaishankar on Gaza crisis

Walking the diplomatic tightrope on the Israel-Hamas conflict at the NAM summit in Uganda, external affairs minister S Jaishankar called for a sustainable solution to the humanitarian crisis in Gaza and called upon all states to respect international humanitarian law, while also emphasising that terrorism and hostage-taking were unacceptable. At the same time, international humanitarian law must always be respected by all states,'' the minister said.
