Ram their art & soul, Muslim village cheers

Cheers and euphoria filled up every house nearly 1,000km away in Naya village, West Midnapore district, as villagers, mostly Muslims, celebrated the consecration of Ram Lalla in Ayodhya. The villagers, known for their scroll paintings based on Ramayan, expressed their happiness for the ceremony and hoped it would generate renewed interest in Ramayan and their art.
