Amit Shah addresses Vibrant Villages sarpanchs near China border

Home minister Amit Shah asserted on Thursday that the Vibrant Village Programme (VVP), a government initiative focusing on infrastructure and development in remote villages bordering China, has successfully "bridged the distance between hearts." Shah mentioned that the Narendra Modi government's expenditure on the infrastructure upgrade of these villages over the last five years was twice the cumulative spending on their development in the 70 years since Independence.
