ASI report says temple was on Gyanvapi site: Hindu side

A Hindu temple existed at the site of the Gyanvapi Masjid before it was constructed in the 17th century, a lawyer representing the plaintiffs in the Shringar Gauri case said Thursday, quoting from Archaeological Survey of India's 839-page report that was handed over to both sides in compliance with a court order.
