Lok Sabha speaker says committee to be formed under Narwekar to review anti-defection law
Speaker Om Birla announced the formation of a committee headed by Maharashtra Assembly Speaker Rahul Narwekar to review the country's anti-defection law. The committee will be reviewing the Tenth Schedule of the Constitution, which contains stringent provisions for curbing the switching over of legislators.
