Panel to give UCC draft on February 2, implementation soon: Uttarakhand CM Dhami
Monday, 29 January 2024 Providing a clear indication that Uttarakhand government will proceed with implementation of the Uniform Civil Code (UCC) in the state next month, chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Monday said that the five-member panel constituted under retired SC judge Justice Ranjana Prakash Desai will hand over its report to the government on Feb 2.
In response to the recent terror attack in Kathua, Jammu and Kashmir, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has issued a powerful statement honouring the bravery and sacrifice of the five soldiers who lost their lives. CM Dhami asserted that their sacrifice would not be in vain and emphasised that the entire nation will remember and honor them.
