India ranks at 93 on Corruption Index, China fares better with rank 76, Denmark continues to top the index
Tuesday, 30 January 2024 India's rank in the Corruption Perception Index (CPI) 2023 has slipped to 93 out of 180 countries, with a score of 39. Transparency International points out that most countries, including India, have made little progress in tackling corruption. The CPI global average score remains unchanged at 43, with more than two-thirds of countries scoring below 50.
After Blinken’s F-16 Announcement, Norway pledges to donate six F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine, with deliveries starting this year, fulfilling a promise made during Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre's visit to Kyiv in August 2023. Multiple NATO countries, including the US, Belgium, Denmark, and the Netherlands, have committed to providing F-16s, aiming for over 60 jets by year-end.
