Violence erupts in Imphal valley again; 2 killed, 3 hurt

Violence returned to Manipur's Imphal valley after a brief lull with unidentified gunmen shooting dead two persons and critically wounding three others in a Tuesday afternoon attack at a village in Imphal West district bordering Kangpokpi, a hill district. The two deceased were identified as N Michael, 33, and M Khaba, 23. One of the injured was taken to the Regional Institute of Medical Sciences in Imphal.
