Supreme Court to hear Hemant Soren's plea against arrest by ED tomorrow

Jharkhand's ex-chief minister and JMM chief Hemant Soren on Thrusday, moved to Supreme Court challenging his arrest by ED. A bench consisting of Chief Justice DY Chandrachud and Justices JB Pardiwala and Manoj Misra has agreed to consider the plea of the former Jharkhand chief minister on Friday. Soren expressed his concern about the timing of his arrest just before the general elections, stating that it has an adverse impact on the country's political landscape.
