Uttarakhand cabinet defers talk on UCC, likely to pass Bill on Feb 6

The Uttarakhand cabinet approved 16 proposals, including a new film policy for the state, on Saturday. However, the issue of the Uniform Civil Code (UCC) was not addressed, as reported by Kautilya Singh. Sources indicate that another cabinet meeting is planned for the morning of February 6th. It is during this meeting that the UCC Bill will be presented in the state assembly.
