Karnataka may fund Rs 100 crore revamp of Ram temples

IndiaTimes Saturday, 3 February 2024
In an apparent move to counter the BJP's portrayal of the Congress government as anti-Hindu and anti-Ram, Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah is expected to allocate Rs 100 crore for the renovation and development of Ram temples across the state in the February 16 budget. The planned allocation for temples is also a countermeasure to a BJP’s plan to send 10,000 Ram “bhakts (devotees)” from Karnataka to Ayodhya.
