Maharashtra's 2024 Lok Sabha elections will witness two warring factions of the same party - Uddhav Thackeray's breakaway faction and Sharad Pawar's NCP. This split within the Shiv Sena and NCP leaves the opposition coalition weakened. BJP has an advantage over the MVA in the state. First, it was the Shiv Sena that split into two dislodging Uddhav Thackeray from the chief minister's post.
